Found some wheels with the look of the original Minilites in 18x12, don't know if they make them in a 5x5 pattern or if they are stout enough. Cool none the less.

* picked up two 69 door skins
* a C3 hardtop that I may or may not use (might still get the race version)
* found source for front and rear one piece clips
* race weight drop on 1969 L88 hood with 4" high rise cowl
* Owens Corning type front spoiler
* race weight convertible hatch

Kirkey makes a nice economical containment seat that is only 500 bucks, we have one in the shop for a dirt car. Looks like a decent piece for the money.

Steel on the way for this project

found a new, never used race weight front surround body clip at a good deal.

The project has had to take a back seat to the C6 racer Woody is building for SD's Mike Beckers and the new TA2 Mustang for Bobby Kennedy. Gives me time to get more funds together.

I currently have two motors that could be used in this project:

1. Semi Vintage type 23 degree with older Brodix heads 327 ci

2. GTA type carbureted LS1, full dry sump

But would really like to build a 600 plus HP torque monster for this project

Picked up my 1969 C3 front surround and the L88 hood. Both are lightweight pieces.

Woody has had a lot of work in the shop the past six months which put this on the back burner.
However, the project will get moving in earnest in the next couple months. I have decided to go with a more vintage type motor, partially because I have a really nice dry sump 23 degree small block with early Brodix heads sitting around. I now have the entire drivetrain, most of the suspension and brakes, fuel cell, seat, guages, fire bottles etc. I have to decide on wheels and may get a set of CCW 18's for SCCA SPO racing and a set of 15" Americans for HSR.

I have a set of 18" fiske wheels for sale that would look great on your car. These are the ones that I used at the ARRC.

Contact me for specs if your interested jfreda@eralab.com

The one piece rear FG clip came in as well as the L88 flairs. These were ACI pieces purchased from Corvette America.
Very light two layer FG for racing.

Woody will get started on the chassis shortly, looking to have it ready by the end of the year.

It will get my 525 Hp SBC by Byron Koury with 23 degree Brodix heads.
