corner weight measure device

Post by ghotz » Sat Apr 07, 2018 11:31 pm

A while back someone posted about a simple, inexpensive device from JEGs or the like, that allowed you to measure corner weight one corner at a time. Kind of like and old fashion bumper jack with a scale build in. I've tried to find the post but havent been able to. Any ideas?

Used one on a buddy's dirt car. When comparing to a set of scales it was not 100% but it sure gave easy instant feedback about changes that were made. Could use it on pit lane and then double-check actual numbers when you got back to the set-up pad.

I found 20 years ago when this was all I could afford that key was to just barley lift the car. it takes a little work to be accurate with it , but this tool is far better than nothing.

You lift the tire just high enough to slip a barley corn under it🚜
